Fred Meyer – 2-Day Sale – 2 Promotions!

Fred Meyer is have a HUGE 2-Day sale today (Nov. 21) and tomorrow (Nov. 22). In addition to apparel clearance being an additional 60% OFF (wow!) they also have an in-ad coupon to save you $5 off your $25 purchase, $10 off your $50 purchase, $20 off your $100 purchase and $30 off your $150 purchase! (These coupons exclude food department purchase.)

You can combine this awesome promotion with the FREE turkey promotion!!! Right now you get a FREE turkey if you spend $150. So there are a couple ways you can do this. . .

Spend $150 on non-grocery items – look for the clearance stuff. Get $30 off and a FREE turkey (up to 20 lbs!) – so you pay $120 for $150 worth of stuff (more if it’s clearance) plus get your turkey!

Spend $100 on non-grocery items, spend $50 on groceries – get $20 back from the 2-day sale coupon, get a FREE turkey! Out of pocket will really only be $120!!

Spend $50 on non-grocery items, spend $100 on groceries – get $10 back from the 2-day sale coupon, get a FREE turkey. Out of pocket with be $140.

I don’t know about you, but I have a HARD time spending that much at the store. BUT – if you focus on the clearance stuff you can get some awesome deals in the non-grocery department. For example – home electronics clearance is an additional 40% off, TVs and cameras clearance an additional 20%!

Also, I my cashier scanned my turkey coupon PRE-coupons – so that was awesome, hopefully yours will, too. Coupons are a form of payment (just like cash!) so they should do it PRE-coupon, in my humble, coupon opinion.

• Real Simple magazine (Dec. issue) – $4.99, use $1 coupon from Coupons.com, to get magazine for $3.99 PLUS it has a coupon in it for $5/$5 purchase at Hallmark – so “FREE” cards!
