You could always make money off the Purex with the right coupons… š

This time the food items were not as tempting as the last time. Last time I got about $150 in food for $25. This time does not seem like much real food so I will have to pass.
Mary says
This week may be a personal best. 85% savings. And I still have all the $3 catalinas to use next time. The clerk did tell me I can only use one catalina per purchase. So I will have to make multiple transactions to use them. That’s okay with me. I’ll use the self check out and buy stuff one thing at a time. Stocked up on cereal, barbecue sauce, pizza, Hefty bags and eggs. I used the 55 cent coupon on the eggs and it worked fine. Used up a ton of cereal coupons and the Hefty coupons from the Safeway book.
Danin says
What is a GM insert?
Heather says
It’s a General Mills insert. They are regional and don’t come out very often.
Emily says
I thought I saw that corn and rice Chex were included in the sale but mine didn’t have them marked down. Anyone find them on sale?
Danielle says
I bought two sets of 10, spent $56, saved $66 and have $3 to spend next time. I still don’t feel too great about the experience though because they were down to one box of cereal and no pizza. The cashier made a mistake and I spent extra time getting that straightened out. We also do not usually buy the sorts of food that I bought (cookie mix, ice cream, brownie mix, Ritz crackers, Oreos) so I wonder if I’ve actually saved my family much money.
Stefanie says
The Campbell’s soup is actually $0.19 after $1/2 q not $0.29! š
BigBadCouponDaddy says
Just got back from the Lacey QFC. They were out of the pizzas for he promotion but are getting some in tomorrow. I spent $38.06 and saved $65 with 2 catalinas for $3.00 off my next order!

Emily says
Does the catalina roll?
Heather says
Emily – I’m hearing different reports. I’m hearing, yes it does but then I also heard that someone could only use one in per transaction? Haven’t had a chance to test it myself. Let me know if you get a chance to test it.
Amy says
I had my cats limited to using one per transaction, but it still printed up 3 for my next transaction of 30 items. So yes, this does roll, you just have to be creative about breaking down your order! A pain, but there are some great deals!!
Jerry says
SmartSource.com has printable egg coupons $.55 on two one dozen cartons, will these go with the QFC brand?
Heather says
It should! Thanks for the heads up, I’ll update the post.
stacy says
At Fred Meyer they have a $3 cat when you buy 4 coffee mates. QFC and Freds usually ran the same cat deals. I have not tried it at QFC but if you buy 4 worth a shot to see.
Heather says
Hi Stacy,
Yes! Thank you for bringing this up. I did get a catalina notifying me about the coffee mate printing at QFC. I don’t remember when it expires, do you?
stacy says
2/20 it expires
Amy says
I bought two sets of ten yesterday and got my discount as well as the two catalina’s, however when I tried to use both cats on my next transaction it would only let me use one. There is no mention of a limit of one per transaction. The cashier said I would have to break down my purchases into multiples in order to use more than one. I have an email in to QFC because this does not seem right!
Heather says
Hi Amy, Thanks for the update. It wouldn’t be QFC that controls that – it’s Catalina company, they control how they print and scan. There is usually a phone number on the catalina to call. If not, the phone number for catalinas is: 1-888-8COUPON. Let me know what you find out!
Melanie says
I went to the store today. I had fun. Yes, on the bottom of the coupon it does say limit one per order. So it isn’t QFC.
Heather says
Melanie – Wanna send me a photo of your shopping trip or a rundown on what you saved? I’d love to include you in the giveaway!
Amy says
They must have changed it, my coupons from Wednesday do not state a limit
Kelsey says
@ Danielle, it can be any 10 items from the special, so yes, it could be 10 cereals or 1 cereal and 9 soups, etc.
I found a $0.75/1 coupon from 2/13 SS for El Monterey Ranchero Tornados if the $1.00/1 doesn’t work.
Kelsey says
Has anyone used the El Monterey coupon? The coupon states it’s for Mexican Snack – Taquitos, Tamales, Mini Chimis or Quesadillas. It does not state Tornadoes…hmmm…wonder if it’ll work?
Danielle says
I have a question (can’t find the QFC coupon policy on their site). To clarify, do we need to buy 10 different products to get the savings or can we buy 10 of the same thing, say 10 boxes of cereal, for example? Thanks for your help.
Heather says
Great question Danielle – you can buy any combination of items. You can buy 10 of the same thing or 10 different things, as long as your total is increments of 10 (10, 20, 30), you will get your catalinas. Does that help?
Chip says
There is a $1/2 Poptarts coupon in the 2/6 RP.
Denise says
There is a $5 off $50 for QFC in the Seattle and south puget sound Entertainment books.
Patrice says
There was a $.40/1 BF Mayo coupon awhile back in the RP inserts. I’ll be using this to pick up so mayo as that’s the only brand my family will eat.
kristiana says
Do you remember which week in the RP the coupon was?
Jennifer says
In my RP in the mail yesterday there was a Purex coupon ($1/1 maybe?)…so maybe more in this weekend’s paper???
