Albertsons NEW Preferred Rewards Card – Earn rewards when you shop

Albertsons has an exciting new rewards program where you can earn FREE groceries. The Preferred Rewards program is a points system that accumulates points when qualifying items are bought. All you have to do is sign up or transfer your old Albertsons Preferred card account, then the points will accumulate to your card automatically when you buy qualifying items. Once 5,000 points have added up on your account, a Rewards Certificate will print on your receipt for $5 off groceries to use on your next trip!
Here are the details on how to gain points:
- Get 10 points for every $1 spent on qualifying items
- Earn 500 Bonus Points with every filled prescription
- Get personalized point offers when you provide your email address
- Watch for bonus point offers throughout the store, pharmacy, and in your mailbox
PLUS, when you sign up you can earn up to 1,000 Bonus Points! Get 500 Bonus Points for enrolling and 500 Bonus Points for providing a valid email address! (And, if you haven’t already, you can still get a $5/$25 coupon when you register your email address.) It also has been confirmed that coupons don’t count against your point accumulation! (Thanks Coupon Connections!)
Have fun and let us know what you think.

when I tried to sign up for this I got a warning from my computer it was an imposter site
I had no problems signing up for this program. Try going to Albertsons.com
Hi Brenda-
I got the same thing, but I’m sure it’s safe because I tried typing in the direct link that was advertised. I’m thinking it’s because it’s a newer page added onto Albertsons.com. I’m sure in time the imposter site warning will go away.

The rewards points thing is on a 3 month cycle kind of like Fred Meyer is so you have to spend $500 in a 3 month period or you dont get anything just like at FM. But unlike FM if you dont have a card you will pay the higher price. At FM the prices are the same if you have a card or not. So if you do not spend enough to make the card worth having at FM you dont have to get one but you do at Albertsons.
I signed up on line. Checked my point balance and I did not get the 1000 points for signing up on line????
