The Regal Cinemas Regal Summer Movie Express – $1 kids movies for the 2017 summer have started in many areas!  Regal Cinemas offers $1 movie admission to popular kids movies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer.  Each week both movies play on both days.

Start date varies by location, so find the closest participating theater near you where you can check out the Summer movie schedule – so you know what movies will play when. Just scroll down to the map and enter your local zip code for a full schedule.

  • WEEK 1 – Kung Fu Panda 3 and Ice Age:  Collision Course
  • WEEK 2 – Trolls and Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
  • WEEK 3 – Monster Trucks and Penguins of Madagascar
  • WEEK 4 – Rio 2 and  The Boxtrolls
  • WEEK 5 – The Secret Life of Pets and Sing

Washington State Parks – Discover Pass FREE day, Saturday, June 3

Washington State Parks – FREE Days

Next Saturday, June 3, 2017 – you can get FREE entry to Washington State Parks for National Trails Day. The Discover Pass is not required to visit state parks on free days. Lots of parks do special events for National Trails Day to celebrate – like park cleanups and special guided hikes – so be sure to check that when planning your trip!

Upcoming Washington State Discover Pass Free Days for 2017 include:

  • June 10 — National Get Outdoors Day
  • Aug. 25 — National Park Service 101st Birthday
  • Sept. 30 — National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11 — Veterans Day
  • Nov. 24 — Autumn day

Please note: A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife during State Parks free days. National Parks FREE Day – April 22 – 23

Save the dates! Next weekend, more than 100 national parks are waiving the entrance fees for National Parks week! Go to the National Park Service website for a list of participating parks. The National Park Service also has an easy-to-use directory of parks by name, location, activity and topic.

Entrance fees to National Parks will be waived again the weekend of August 25 for the National Park Service birthday. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included.

  • August 25: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 30: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend
