FREE admission to National Parks TODAY – November 11

Today, more than 100 national parks will waive the entrance fees for Veterans Day! Go to the National Park Service website for a list of participating parks. The National Park Service also has an easy-to-use directory of parks by name, location, activity and topic. Be sure to check out this list of participating National Parks that commemorate and honor the service of American veterans.

This is the last fee-free day in 2016. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included.

Washington State Parks – Discover Pass FREE day, November 11!

Washington State Parks – FREE Day

Tomorrow, November 11 – you can get FREE entry to Washington State Parks for the Veterans Day. The Discover Pass is not required to visit state parks on free days. Tomorrow is also a FREE entry day in hundreds of National Parks across the country.

This is the last FREE entry day for Washington State parks in 2016. The next free day should be January 1 for First Day Hikes and New Years Day.

Please note: A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife during State Parks free days. Sno-Park permits are still required on free days at designated Sno-Parks during the winter season. Learn more about the Discover Pass and Free days here.

FREE museum admission for Bank of America cardholders, November 5 – 6

If you are Bank of America or Merrill Lynch account holder and have a Bank of America debit or credit card, you can get into more than 150 museums for FREE this weekend, November 5 – 6. As part of their Museum on Us program – just show your photo ID and your Bank of America/Merrill Lynch card to get in FREE at participating museums.

Bank of America has also recently rolled out its Museums on Us site for mobile. You can check it out here on your mobile phone: http://museums.bankofamerica.com. It’s great for people who are traveling and want to check out if the city they are visiting has a participating museums.

Staring today and running through this weekend, ALL 412 national parks will be waiving the entrance fees for the National Park Service Birthday Centennial!
