Washington State Parks – Discover Pass FREE day, Next Friday, August 25

Washington State Parks – FREE Days

*Save the Date!* Next Friday, August 25, 2017 – you can get FREE entry to Washington State Parks for the National Park Service’s birthday. The Discover Pass is not required to visit state parks on free days. Lots of parks do special events for National Trails Day to celebrate – like park cleanups and special guided hikes – so be sure to check that when planning your trip!

Upcoming Washington State Discover Pass Free Days for 2017 include:

  • Sept. 30 — National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11 — Veterans Day
  • Nov. 24 — Autumn day

Please note: A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife during State Parks free days. Sno-Park permits are still required on free days at designated Sno-Parks during the winter season. Learn more about the Discover Pass and Free days here.

As part of their Museum on Us program – just show your photo ID and your Bank of America/Merrill Lynch card to get in FREE at participating museums.

Bank of America has also recently rolled out its Museums on Us site for mobile. You can check it out here on your mobile phone: http://museums.bankofamerica.com. It’s great for people who are traveling and want to check out if the city they are visiting has a participating museums.
