Ibotta often offers rebates on milk and bread – so finding an offer to redeem shouldn’t be a challenge!

Just yesterday I went shopping at WinCo and was able to redeem nearly $5 in offers just by scanning the product barcodes and scanning my receipt – all from my smartphone. It’s one of the easiest ways to get cash back on groceries – and it’s for products I’m buying ANYWAY like eggs, milk, produce, orange juice. . .

ibotta-and-how-it-works

So what is iBotta? It’s an app for your iPhone or Android that gives you cash back when you buy certain items. Ibotta works in over 300 retail chains, restaurants, movie theaters, home improvement stores, pharmacies and more nationwide – making it super easy to use! They’ll even pay you CASH back on your purchases.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Create an iBotta account through this link
  2. Download the app on your iPhone or Android
  3. Scroll through the app and look at offers. They are for specific products. First you select a product and then you complete a task – like watch a movie, take a poll or share on Facebook. Then it becomes an available offer for you – and you purchase it in the stores to get cash back!
  4. You’ll need to complete the steps to redeem your rebate – often snapping a photo of your receipt and/or scanning a bar code to verify your purchase.
  5. After you get a required minimum amount ($5 – $20 depending on account), the payment is sent via PAYPAL to you. It’s cash, just like that!

So there you have it! Give it a try . . . and let me know how you like it!
