The high cost of beer, wine and alcohol can really take a gulp out of your monthly grocery budget. You’re not going to find any alcohol coupons, at least not in Washington, but you can save on these items when you take advantage of rebates.
My husband prefers the “micro-brew” beers and although we buy it rarely and only when it’s on sale, these can be expensive splurges on our grocery bill, so we take advantage of rebates like this Redhook one when we can.
I found this form at the local Albertsons, but I’ve seen it at various other stores as well. It has five options for $5 refunds on beef, chicken, seafood, spices and pasta when you purchase Redhook beer. I think you can do each rebate per household.

I told you about this Sara Lee rebate for FREE Toy Story items back in May. Turns out today that Sara Lee announced it was so popular that they’ve run out of supplies so they won’t be honoring any more submissions! I’m totally bummed. I mailed in a bunch of UPCs last month and I’m not sure we’ll end up getting anything. This is horrible PR for Sara Lee, you’d think they’d just order more supplies and fulfill the requests. There are a lot of disappointed customers commenting on the Sara Lee Facebook page, where they made the announcement. I just wanted to pass along the news in case you were saving Sara Lee UPCs for the rebate. We’ll see what happens – you might want to hold on to your UPCS in the very slim chance that Sara Lee decides to honor them or offer some other form of compensation.

Look for specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s Cinnabon cereal that have a Try Me FREE offer on the front (see photo above). The way Try Me Free offers work is you buy the product and then submit your receipt and usually proof of purchase via mail to get a full refund (up to a specified amount) via a check in the mail (or sometimes a coupon for a free one). Make sure and read the small print and follow the instructions.

Then you visit the Hillshire Farm Web site, enter the special code from your tub, and tell them either:

Be on the lookout for specially marked Kellogg’s cereal that have a $10 Bonus Buck promotion on the front. When you buy three (3) specially marked Kellogg’s cereals you’ll get $10 bonus bucks to spend on electronics, toys, sporting goods, books, concessions and movies.

There are sooo many Toy Story promotions going on right now, it’s hard to keep them all straight. Today at Fred Meyer I found a “quadruple play” when you buy Toy Story toys. A quadruple play means that I’m able to take advantage of four different promotions at once!

I went to Walgreens yesterday to get the money making Nivea body wash that I told you about on Sunday. Unfortunately the body wash didn’t ring up BOGO for me, so I didn’t get it (did it work for you?). But I DID get these items, which will net a profit of up to $7.11 after rebate!

If you need diapers, I’d be running to your local Rite Aid. I stopped in today and found that they had many, many brands and sizes of diapers at 50% off, on clearance! I was able to buy four packages of diapers (154 diapers) for only $15.91 after coupons – which makes them only $0.10 cents each. (To give you an idea of what a good deal that is, Costco Kirkland brand diapers in size 6 are $0.29 cents each! See my Costco price list.)

If you’re thinking about investing in some paint or stain – this weekend is the time to do it! Home Depot is offering a $5 mail-in rebate when you buy one gallon of paint or $20 when you buy five (5) gallons of Glidden, Behr paint or Flood stains. Rebate is available on purchases done from 5/27-5/31.
If you like saving money at Home Depot, make sure and sign up for their Home Improver e-newsletter – they e-mail out coupons frequently that make for some great deals.

If you “like” Sara Lee Soft and Smooth bread on Facebook and you’ll be able to print a coupon for $0.75 cents off any Sara Lee Soft and Smooth Plus Made with DHA Omega-3.
You might be able to use this coupon to score this sweet deal at Albertsons this week with the Toy Story rebate. BUT, I’m fairly certain the DHA varieties of bread were more expensive – like $2-$3 a loaf (instead of $1.49 like the variety I bought), and I’m not sure if they were qualifying products for the rebate, make sure they have the Toy Story rebate advertised on the package. Either way – if you doubled your $0.75 coupon you could get $1.50 off this bread!
While your on Facebook, make sure and like Queen Bee, too!
(Thanks to Freebies 4 Mom, for letting me know about this great coupon!)

This is a good example of a TRIPLE play, as I refer to them in my coupon classes – it’s a sale, a coupon PLUS a rebate! At Albertsons through tomorrow (5/18) you can score bread for only $0.50 cents a loaf, PLUS get a FREE Toy Story lunchbox, Toy Story breakfast cup/plate set or Toy Story sectioned plate after rebate! Here’s how it works. . .
Here’s a great scenario for making a few dollars off Armor All products at Target after coupons and rebate! Here’s what you gotta do:

So your virus protection comes up for renewal and you get a little pop-up box in the bottom right corner of your screen telling you to renew. I think one of the worst things you can do is click on the automated renewal link and buy the virus protection from the company through the renewal link. They never give you a good deal!
At least it’s never as good as you could get if you went to a store and bought it from another vendor like Amazon.com! Right now they have McAfee Total Protection 3 User 2010 for only $28.87, a savings of 64% off the regular price of $79.99! This ships FREE because it’s more than $25. This in itself is a great deal, but. . .it gets better!
I went to Fred Meyer yesterday and found massive amounts of tear pads, peelies, coupon books and more! I would definitely recommend making a trip, if for any reason at all to get some awesome coupons for your collection. These are what you want to look for:

This week at Staples you can score a 2o-pack of Duracell batteries for FREE, after the Staples Rewards rebate (limit 2).

Went to Target this morning and got some good deals. Spent $14.11 , got back $10 in gift cards and will get $5 back in a rebate, so in the end I’ll make $0.89 cents!! Here’s what I did:
Starting tomorrow, April 11, you can get Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner for cheap with coupon and sale, and FREE with the current SC Johnson rebate out there. Here’s how it works:
Staples is offering a FREE ream of paper, after rebate, when you use this coupon at purchase.
