While I was at Fred Meyer today getting my Wisk laundry detergent for only $0.99 cents, I picked up latest FREE copy of the Naturally Preferred magazine. It only has three coupons in it, but I wanted to mention them in case they are items you purchase!

  • $1 off one (1) box (5 two-bar pouches) of Clif Crunch products. Expires 12/31/2010. Looks like these are currently on sale for $16 at Fred Meyer this week, so this would make them $15.
  • $1 off any two Simply Organic glass bottles spices or grinders. Expires 3/31/2011.
  • $1 when you buy any two (2) Dr. Oetker Organics baking mixes. Expires 10/31/2010.

These magazines are FREE and can be found in the Health food section at Fred Meyer. The September issue is pictured above (sorry for the bad picture, I folded the magazine up and put it in my purse).

If plan to go to Fred Meyer today or tomorrow, make sure and check out my weekly deals through 9/4.

Fred Meyer has Wisk detergent (50 oz) on sale for $3.99 and if you use the $3/1 Wisk coupon that we got in last weekend’s (8/29) Red Plum insert (a regional coupon) – you’ll get it for only $0.99 cents! I knew this coupon was going to get us an awesome deal on Wisk!!

If for some reason you don’t have the $3/1 coupon, there is a $1/1 printable Wisk coupon here, or a $1 printable coupon here (must register), or $1/1 Facebook coupon, that will make it $2.99.

The sale apparently runs until 9/14, so you have some time to stock up, and this is definitely a stock-up price! If you go to the store and they are out, ask for a rain check at the $3.99 price – this means that when they do get it back in stock, you’ll get the advertised price of $3.99 and you’ll be able to use your coupon with your rain check to get it for $0.99 cents.

If you’re headed to Fred Meyer, check out my list of other deals for the week!

Thanks to my blogger pal Angela at The Coupon Project for the heads up on this awesome deal!

You can print coupons for Old Navy by playing a dirty little game on the Old Navy Facebook page. All you have to do is “like” Old Navy on Facebook, click on “Barker’s Bones” tab and play the game (pick a dirt hill). If you don’t find a coupon, keep clicking the dirt hills until you do.

I clicked around for a while and found a $5 off $50, a $10 off $50 and a $15 off $75. If you find a coupon and you don’t like it, it appears you can try again by clicking on the Barker’s Bone tab again and the game starts over. I think you can ultimately only get one coupon to use. You can opt to have it printed immediately or e-mailed to you.

I had mine e-mailed to me. Looks like it expires in one week and it says I can come back next week to find another coupon!

While you’re over on Facebook, check out the Queen Bee Coupons & Savings Facebook page. It’s a great place to get timely updates that don’t make it to the blog AND it’s a great place to mingle with other Queen Bee readers!

(Thanks, Mrs. Moneysaver!)

When I was at Albertsons this morning saving bundles of money, I noticed these peelies on the Gatorade bottles – which makes them super cheap this week. Here’s how:

Buy 10 (32 oz) Gatorades for $10
Get 10 Propels for FREE (when you buy 10 Gatorades, must be done in same transaction).
Use three $1 peelies for Gatorades
Final price = $7 for 10 bottles of Gatorade and 10 bottles of Propel – that’s $0.35 cents a piece
Even without the peelies, it’s a decent deal at $0.50 cents each

Not sure how this promotion works. Watch the register when you check out to make sure $5 comes off for your Propels. It’s advertised on the front page, top fold of the ad in case you have questions.

I didn’t buy any because we don’t need it. I found it near the front entrance of my store on a display.

I pulled myself together early this morning to go shopping at Albertsons before my husband had to go to work, so I could go shopping without kids. The store was quiet, the deals were rockin’ and I think I like starting my day off with so many good deals. :) I spent $17.04 out of pocket, but left with $15 in catalinas to use on future purchases, so my final cost for all these items was $2.04! I saved $93.78. Here’s how I did it. . .

Update 9:24 p.m. – Some people are reporting having problems using this $5/5 Kraft coupon (see deals listed below). It might be because it’s such a high value coupon and it’s also an online printable coupon AND apparently it beeps at the register. It is a VALID coupon and if you want, you can print the home page for Huddle to Fight Hunger, so they can see it’s source. Not sure if that will help at all, but just in case.

Others have used the $5/5 coupon with no problem!

I think it’s going to be a fun week at Albertsons (9/1-9/7) with all the great deals and free-bees. The most exciting deal is FREE Kraft Cool Whip, no coupons required, FREE Kraft cheese, FREE Kellogg’s Cinnabon bars, FREE energy drinks and FREE Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

The winner of today’s Amazon diaper code winner is Melisa! She left a comment on my post from earlier today and was selected by Random.org as the winner.

Melisa commented: Please enter me in to win. I bought a magazine at my borders and my coupon code had already been redeemed :(   Thanks!!!

I already e-mailed Melisa to let her know she won! Thanks to everyone who entered and a big thanks to Kathy, the Queen Bee reader, who donated the code.

I’m working on Albertsons grocery match-ups for this next week (starting 9/1) and I found a couple awesome free-bees that I just had to post – including FREE Cool Whip – no coupons needed!

Buy 5 or more participating Kraft products, get $5 off your next shopping trip
Kraft Cool Whip –
$1 each
Buy five (5) for $5
Pay $5 out of pocket
Get $5 off your next order (a catalina)
Final price = FREE

Ad specifically states “Additional coupon offer will not print when the coupon is redeemed in the same transaction.” This means that if you turn around and buy five more Cool Whips and pay with your $5 off coupon (catalina) from your first transaction you would NOT get another $5 coupon (catalina).

Save $10 on your next shopping trip when you buy 10 participating Kellogg’s or Keebler products in a single transaction
Kellogg’s Cinnabon bars –
$1.99
Buy ten (10) Kellogg’s Cinnamon Bars for $19.90
Use ten $1/1 Cinnabon coupons from 8/14 Parade magazine
Pay $9.90 out of pocket
Get $10 off your next order
Final price = FREE

These deals don’t start until tomorrow, 9/1 and will go through 9/7. I’ll be going through the ad for more great deals and will posting the Albertsons deals later.

TODAY, August 31 is the last day Amazon is offering an additional 30% off on diapers! If you haven’t taken advantage of this deal yet – today is the day! PLUS – Kathy, a generous Queen Bee reader is offering up one promotional code from the August Parents magazine for an additional 20% off!

To enter to win the extra 20% promotional code – leave a comment on this blog post by 3 p.m. TODAY. I’ll be announcing the winner around 3 p.m. so that the winner has time to use the code before the deal expires tonight.

The code I’m giving away starts with an “A”, so it’s from the August Parents magazine. This means it can be combined with the September Parents magazine code to get you an additional 40% off!

Please note: This promotional code can only been redeemed if you have NOT previously used a code – it’s only one per account. So if you’ve been lucky enough to get cheap diapers already this month using a promo code, you won’t be able to use this code to purchase more.

Even if you don’t win the promotional code, you can still get in on this great deal, here’s how:

Amazon has a great price on the Kodak EasyShare C182 Digital Camera (Blue) for only $59, a savings of 51% from the original price of $119. It ships for FREE. Not sure how long this offer will be available. They also have a special offer that if you buy the Kodak EasyShare C182 Digital Camera (Blue) you’ll get 25% off a Jobi GP-1 Gorillapod(a brand of tripod), click Special Offers on the product page for more details.

I’ve started to see a lot more Amazon deals lately, so be prepared for lots of Amazon posts this fall/winter. During the holiday shopping season, Amazon.com routinely has rock bottom prices. PLUS, every fall they have a HUGE toy sale that will keep our heads spinning – so stay tuned.

Update -This deal was verified – it’s working. Not sure how long it will last, though.

I haven’t tried this deal, so it hasn’t been verified, but I thought I’d post it so you could try it out when you’re at Albertsons getting your doubler deals

Buy one Tampax $2.79
DOUBLE $1/1 coupon from 8/29 P&G
Final price – $0.79 cents

PLUS I heard that you’ll get a catalina for FREE Playtex at checkout. So you’d get both for $0.79 cents out of pocket!

I’m guessing you can do this transaction as many times as you want. I’m guessing if you buy two Tampax you won’t get two FREE catalinas – so just buy one Tampax at a time to get the FREE Playtex.

Those are all the details I have and like I mentioned above, I haven’t personally tried it out so I can’t verify it will work. If you can, try it out and report back. Hope it works for you. If not, you’ll still get a good deal on Tampax, right?

Make sure and check out my Albertsons doubler list for other deal ideas.

These are the deals at Fred Meyer for the week of August 29-September 4. It’s kind of a sleepy week at Fred Meyers as far as I can see.

Before you head to Fred Meyer, make sure and add e-coupons to your Fred Meyer Rewards card from cellfire.com and the Fred Meyer Web site (powered by Soft Coin).

This is the Albertsons DOUBLER flier that is in today’s paper (8/29/10). The doublers themselves are enough to get excited about, make sure and check out my list of free-bees and great deals with doublers this week.

BUT, I also want to point out the coupon in the top right corner of this flier – it’s a manufacturer coupon for $3 off when you buy any 5 participating Quaker products (the same one that is in this week’s Albertsons ad). If you aren’t going to use this coupon at Albertsons this week – hold on to it. It’s a manufacturer coupon, which means you can redeem it anywhere and it doesn’t expire until 10/17/10!! You better believe we are going to be seeing other stores offering great Quaker sales this fall and this coupon could be the missing piece to getting you super cheap Quaker products. Safeway’s coupon policy specifically states that they’ll take manufacturer’s coupons with another store’s logo on them.

8. Safeway will accept valid manufacturer coupon that displays another retailer’s logo or name only if such coupon is for a specific item.

Check out your paper to see if you have this Fred Meyer flier. It has $4.75 in coupons – most of which are manufacturer coupons, so you can use them at any retailer. These are the coupons on the flier:

  • Save $0.50 on new Shake ‘n Bake Crispy buffalo flavor
  • Save $0.25 on any one Fred Meyer Greek  yogurt 6 oz cup – store coupon, only redeemable at Freds
  • Save $1 on any one Colgate Sensitive Multi-protection toothpaste
  • Save $1 on any one Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick antiperspirant or deodorant
  • Save $1 on any 8-pack of Starbucks VIA Ready brew
  • Save $1 on any one SCOTT Extra soft tissue, double roll, 12-pack
Combine this coupon with the $1 Scott tissue Target coupon in today’s Red Plum to save $2 on a 12-pack of SCOTT tissue at Target. Not sure what they are priced this week, might be better to hold on to these coupons until a sale.

These coupons expire in late September and late October, so hold on to them until you find the right sale.

I’m moving this up because I went to Albertsons this morning and found a bunch more DOUBLER deals! It’s an exciting week at Albertsons with a rockin’ Quaker sale and the rumor of doublers coming on Sunday! There are a TON of free-bees with doublers this week. . .

Sometimes it’s not just about saving the MOST money (Gasp! Can you believe I’m saying this!?). . . sometimes it’s about saving money AND convenience. I could have waited to go shopping until this weekend when there are rumored doublers coming out on Sunday – if I were to use doublers, the cereal and the salad dressing would be FREE, but that would have required multiple transactions. I just didn’t want to spend the energy and time to do that, for what seemed like a small additional savings. . .so I went today and got the salad dressing for $0.25 cents each and the cereal for $0.60 cents a box.

These are the deals that I scored:

Oatmeal Squares cereal – $1.60 each
Buy three Oatmeal Squares cereals @ $1.60 each = $4.80
Use three (3) Oatmeal Square $1/1 tearpad coupons and $1/1 coupons from the insides of Quaker oatmeal boxes that I had purchased during the last Quaker sale
Final price = $0.60 cents each

Tropicana Orange juice – $2.50 each
Used tear pad coupon for FREE Tropicana Orange Juice when you buy three boxes of Oatmeal Squares cereal
Final price = FREE!
If you buy Tropicana orange juice you should check out their awesome Tropicana Juicy Rewards program!

Ball Park Hot Dogs – $1.99
Use $2/1 Ball Park printable coupon from Facebook (click on Coupon tab)
Final price = FREE, no doubler needed!

Ken’s salad dressing – $1.25 each
Used $1/1 coupon from 8/15 Smart Source insert
Final price = $0.25 each

Aidell’s sausages – $2.99 – dairy markdowns (these are regular price $5.99!)
Used $1/1 coupons from previous packages I purchased
Final price = $1.99 each

Olives – $1 a can

I used two $2 Albertsons receipt survey coupons, which deducted $4 from my total. Final price paid was $16.62 and I saved $147.96!

I LOVE Quaker Squares cereal and so does my three-year-old, he thinks they are “cookies” and he’ll eat them as dry snacks. The salad dressing is good through next May and I will be donating half of it to my church for meals that they make every Wednesday during the winter (which always have a salad) and we’ll definitely be sharing with friends/family (it’s easy to share the savings and bless others when you coupon)!  Anytime I buy marked down meat like the Aidells, I just put it in the freezer as soon as I get home – it works out great!

I have to say that I did all this shopping with my three-week-old strapped to my front! I ended up splurging on a baby carrier – the Ergo Baby Carrier and it worked amazingly! It was super comfortable, easy to put the baby in, didn’t hurt my back and the baby slept the whole time. I would recommend this hands down – it’s $105 from Amazon.com (free shipping) and I ended up paying for mine with Amazon gift cards I earned from Swag Bucks – so FREE to me! But just think, I saved enough from this shopping trip to pay for it!

While I was at Albertsons, I scoped out a bunch more doubler deals. . .so I’m going to be working on updating my current Albertsons doubler list. Let’s hope we are getting doublers (that’s the rumor).
