Melisa commented: Please enter me in to win. I bought a magazine at my borders and my coupon code had already been redeemed
Thanks!!!
I already e-mailed Melisa to let her know she won! Thanks to everyone who entered and a big thanks to Kathy, the Queen Bee reader, who donated the code.

TODAY, August 31 is the last day Amazon is offering an additional 30% off on diapers! If you haven’t taken advantage of this deal yet – today is the day! PLUS – Kathy, a generous Queen Bee reader is offering up one promotional code from the August Parents magazine for an additional 20% off!
To enter to win the extra 20% promotional code – leave a comment on this blog post by 3 p.m. TODAY. I’ll be announcing the winner around 3 p.m. so that the winner has time to use the code before the deal expires tonight.
The code I’m giving away starts with an “A”, so it’s from the August Parents magazine. This means it can be combined with the September Parents magazine code to get you an additional 40% off!
Please note: This promotional code can only been redeemed if you have NOT previously used a code – it’s only one per account. So if you’ve been lucky enough to get cheap diapers already this month using a promo code, you won’t be able to use this code to purchase more.
Even if you don’t win the promotional code, you can still get in on this great deal, here’s how:

This means it’s prime time to earn some serious Swag Bucks to add to your Swag Bucks account. . .to then turn into awesome prizes such as gift cards!
Have you jumped on the Swag Bucks bandwagon yet? I heard about it for close to a year before I jumped on board and I wish I would have sooner. In the last month, I’ve earned a ton of Amazon.com gift cards, just by using their search toolbar and doing other things that earn Swag Bucks. I like it because it requires minimal effort from me and I earn points to redeem for prizes, which I’ve opted for Amazon gift cards so I can buy things we need for the baby!
I’ve also heard for people who cash in their Swag Bucks at Christmas time and use all of their points for Christmas shopping, which I think is a great way to make your money stretch around the holidays.

Two weeks I got $48 worth of diapers for only $4.55 from Amazon.com! I posted about it here, but I wanted to remind you that if you haven’t had a chance to get in on the deal yet, you still have time! The deal will probably only be valid through the end of August – so only one week left.
My three-year-old is nuts about Toy Story 3 so this is definitely a deal I’m getting in on. Right now you can pre-order the Toy Story 3 DVD
from Amazon for only $16.99 (reg. price $29.99), PLUS you’ll get a $4 credit to use in for Amazon Video on Demand (watch movies from your computer)! So it’s like getting the movie for only $12.99!
Get a FREE movie ticket credit (up to $10) to either Salt, The Other Guys or Eat, Pray, Love, when you purchase a qualifying DVD from Amazon.com. There are 54 different DVDs/Blu-rays to select from and some are priced as low as $6.95 – so you could actually come out ahead with the $10 movie credit. You can also use the credit toward concession cash to tackle that $10 popcorn and soda you might want.
Last week I got $48 worth of diapers for only $4.55 from Amazon.com! I posted about it here, but I wanted to remind you that if you haven’t had a chance to get in on the deal yet, you still have time!
Drum roll please. . .congratulations to the two readers who won two 20% off diaper codes for Amazon.com. I highlighted the Amazon diaper deal in a post earlier the week when I bought a $48 box of diapers for only $4.55!
Winners, selected by Random.org are:
- Monica – “Thanks for sharing in your deals!!! I would love to get some diapers for such a great price. Thanks.”
- Cheri F – “I would love a set of codes. Thank you!”
Monica and Cheri will each get two 20% off codes (one from August Parents magazine and one from September Parents magazine) so they will get 40% off diapers with the codes!
PLUS. . . I have two bonus codes to give away! The September 2010 Parenting magazines that my husband graciously picked up for me at the store had two codes each in them (they should only have one)! Talk about a BONUS! Well I decided I’d give away those two extra codes – so two readers will get 20% off diapers through Amazon.
The winners of the bonus codes, picked by me, are:
- Mari – Please, please let it be me. I work for a school and with all the cuts, I have no job for the month of August. We could use the help.
- Jean H – I would love to win the codes. I am a senior raising a toddler grandchild on a fixed income so any way I can save is a HUGE help.
Watch your e-mails for the codes! Thank you to everyone who left a comment!
If you want to learn more about this awesome deal, check out my post from earlier this week.

Although not necessarily a fun thing to spend money on, a back-up drive of some kind for your computer is so important (especially with all these digital pictures we have these days)! I just bought a 500 GB storage drive back in February and I paid close to $100 for it.
Today only Amazon.com is offering the Iomega eGo 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive 34512 (Brown Leather) for only $69.99, which is 41% off the list price of $118.99, plus FREE shipping! Amazon has an awesome deal right now on YummyEarth Organic Lollipops, Assorted Flavors, 150-Count Container at only $10.48 (which is 50% off the reg. price of $21)! But you can save an extra 15% when you select the Subscribe & Save option, making it only $8.91!
My August copy of the All You magazine came in the mail yesterday and it’s full of coupons! This magazine comes out monthly and honestly has mediocre articles and content – but the coupons make it worthwhile. The coupons are usually higher value than the coupons from the newspaper and it definitely pays for itself.
There are only two ways to get the All You magazine – buy it at Walmart for about $2.40 a copy, it’s the only store that carries it, or get a subscription for it. The subscription is the cheaper route to go. You can get a one-year subscription from Amazon.com right now for $19.95, making it only a $1.66 per issue. The two-year subscription is only $34, a better deal at only $1.42 an issue!
Here are the coupons in the August issue:
