I’m hoping to do some canning this summer. I bought a Groupon for a canning class, I’ve been stocking up on jars and I’ve been trying to read as much as I can on the topic. This book is a beaut: Canning for a New Generation: Bold, Fresh Flavors for the Modern Pantry and it’s on sale for $9.99. It will ship FREE with Amazon Prime or with a qualifying purchase of $25.

I think this book would make a sweet gift and if you are looking for some new canning recipes this is a keeper! Check out the reviews, it gets high marks from beginner and expert canners.

If you’re looking the long-standing canning guide – Amazon has the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving on sale for $12.28. Although I’m fairly certain I’ve seen this at Costco, I can’t remember what it was priced at. Anyone remember?
