GoDirect Foods just opened up another ordering period for Washington, Oregon and Idaho!
Offering high-quality meat products, like chicken and beef, for low prices – GoDirect Foods has a similar business model to Zaycon Foods – which many of us have used to save on our meat. BOTH companies deliver bulk meat to a central pick-up station near you at prices drastically less than you’ll find in the grocery store.
GoDirect Foods is differentiating themselves by offering delivery EVERY month – you order the first week of the month, for delivery at the END of the month! I love this ordering style – because it’s easier for me to predict what I need – instead of ordering too much or too little with delivery dates 4-6 months out with Zaycon. It also means I can order less chicken at a time – which means less processing and the chicken doesn’t sit in my freezer as long between orders.
GoDirect Foods just opened up delivery for Washington, Oregon and Idaho – and they’ve added a couple new locations!

Here are the prices I’m seeing for August delivery – fresh boneless chicken breast for $1.77/lb, ground beef as low as $2.89/lb and bacon as low as $2.99/lb!
I know a lot of you prefer organic chicken and I’m so excited that GoDirect Foods is offering ORGANIC fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast for $6.99/lb. This is the SAME chicken (same supplier) you’d buy at Northwest-area Whole Foods stores – where they routinely charge $9.99/lb. It’s ORGANIC and fed on an ORGANIC, vegetarian diet.
This meat also has a Step 5+ animal rating – which means:
- All chickens have access to outdoors.
- Outdoor areas include ample water and shade
- Natural behaviors are enriched with bales of straw (used for pecking) and eucalyptus tree branches (used for playing and hiding).
- At Step 5 the well-being of the animals is the primary focus; efficiency and economy are secondary.
- Animals raised to Step 5+ standards must be born and live their entire lives on one farm.
To learn more about GoDirect and to see what products are in your area follow these steps:
1.) Create a GoDirect account here (it’s FREE)
2.) Select the nearest location to you
3.) Click on products and see what’s available in your area
Eventually GoDirect wants to expand to other areas of the country. For now they are focusing on quality and low prices in the Northwest. If you don’t see your area listed in the GoDirect delivery locations you can still create a GoDirect account and you’ll be notified when they reach your area (this also tells them where there is interest as they plan expansion efforts!).

Has anyone tried the steak dogs? They are the all beef hot dogs. I love Hebrew National hot dogs and am wondering if these were similar.
