Our local Briggs YMCA (Lacey, Washington) is waiving the enrollment fee for the month of January! This means you can save as much as $100 (depending on the membership) when you join the Y before the end of January! Membership starts around $37 a month for young adults, $59 for a basic family membership and $80 for a full family membership.
The YMCA offers a ton of exercise class (included in membership), they have two pools, a play area for kids, gym and more. They have fancy cardio equipment (with personal tvs) and they also offer lots of community events and opportunities for fun.
And – most recently the YMCA Briggs location changed their childcare prices – it is now a flat $25 for the first child (for unlimited use) and $35 flat for 2 or more kids. So if you have 5 kids – it’s still only $35/month flat fee for unlimited childcare. Prior to this they used a punch card and paid per use, which could add up quickly. So if you’re looking for an affordable (and fun) childcare option for when you workout, the Y is a great and affordable place!
Just print this post out, head into the Briggs YMCA, sign up at the front desk, tell them QUEEN BEE sent you – it’s that simple. They’ll waive the fee, which can be as much as $100 for a new membership! Learn more about the Briggs YMCA here.
My disclosure – I am a member of the YMCA referral program. By telling them QUEEN BEE sent you I do receive a referral credit. But I am a loyal and happy YMCA member – so I share this not because of the referral program, but because I believe in the organization and feel like a Y membership is a great value with a family-friendly environment.
Are you thinking about joining? I’d love to answer any questions you have! Or if you’re already a member I’d love to hear what you like best about the Y.
