Thurston County Fair – $1 Wednesday, plus other money-saving tips

My son, at the fair last year
Tomorrow, August 4, is opening day of the Thurston County Fair and it’s also one-buck Wednesday!. That means you can get into the fair for only $1 with a non-perishable donation. At least one donation per person. The food benefits the Thuston County Food banks. Admission to the fair is as high as $7 for an adult – so this is a big discount!

Office Max – Back to school deals, 7/18
You’ll be seeing more and more “back to school” posts from me in the coming weeks. I know school is probably the last thing on your mind, but you’ll save yourself some big bucks if you start picking up school supplies now.
Here’s what you’ll find this week (July 18 – 24) at Office Max:
Target – FREE Batteries
Target – FREE Batteries
Check your local Target store for Rayovac batteries in the Dollar Spot for, well, only $1! Then use the $1/1 coupon from the 10/18 Smart Source insert to get these FREE! There were also coupons, not sure if they were .50 cent or $1/2 or $1 coupons in the 11/8 Smart Source, I think it varies by area.
