Fred Meyer – FREE Turkey with purchase of $150 or more

Fred Meyer FREE turkey offer

Fred Meyer released another food ad today – most of the deals are included in this week’s sale, but two deals caught our attention. The biggest deal is that it’s the start of Fred Meyer’s FREE turkey promotion! This runs until Saturday November 16 with in-ad coupon. We expect turkeys to remain on sale through Thanksgiving.

10-20 b Kroger Brand or Private Selection Turkey, with in-ad coupon:
$0.69/lb when you spend $50 or more
$0.49/lb when you spend $100 or more
FREE when you spend $150 or more

This is ONLY a deal if you plan on buying $150 worth of groceries anyway. With an average turkey price of $0.50 a pound, a 15 pound turkey is only $7.50. A “FREE” turkey on a $150 purchase is a pretty small freebie, unless you were doing the shopping anyway. Make sense?

And here’s another great discount:

Bob’s Red Mill Flour 5 lb – $2.50, with in-ad coupon, limit 4

Find other Fred Meyer deals here.

If you missed it earlier, I posted the Fred Meyer Black Friday ad! Looks like they have some of the great deals they have every year, like 50% off socks, great discount on Bear Paws and more.

  1. At the Fred Meyer near me, turkey is $2.19 a pound. That means the 10 lb. turkey is $22, but one closer to 20 lbs. would be a $44 value free.

    • Yes, but at many other retailers you can get it for $0.59/lb – so it’s definitely a much higher price at Freds then most other retailers! For example, QFC has a $0.59/lb turkey with a $30 purchase. Much less out of pocket!

  2. I don’t think I could spend $150 in groceries, but I might be able to if it included all the departments. A couple of Christmas presents could get you to that total.
