Good morning!
I don’t want to jinx things but I think we might be rounding the corner to wellness in our house. Today marks officially one week since we all started getting sick with various ailments concerning the stomach. On Thursday, my daughter was diagnosed with Rotavirus – a scary flu-like virus and she seems to have turned the corner for the better the last 18 hours. Whew! With four days until my husband has to return to work, I’m hoping we can now fit in some FUN!
My daughter, I found her reading in this storage bin yesterday.
We’re all getting a little stir crazy at our place. I’ve left the house twice in one week – once for Christmas Eve and once for the doctor!
Thank you so everyone who has entered my $100 Amazon gift card giveaway (and enter if you haven’t). I’m celebrating 4 million page views – which doesn’t mean much to anyone who isn’t a blogger, but it’s kinda a big deal for my lil ole blog. I’m so grateful for your readership. I am planning more giveaways in early 2013. We’ll see what I can come up with.

RECIPES & MEAL PLANNING
What’s on your menu plan this week? After us missing all our holiday meals this week, I took a turkey out of the freezer for New Years day.
Since I haven’t grocery shopped in over 10 days, we orded Indian food for dinner last night. If you live in the Lacey/Olympia, WA area – Curry Corner is where it’s at. Best Indian food ever. And no dishes, which is just what the doctor ordered after the week we’ve had in our house. It was a mini celebration for the big milestone we reached. I seriously need to learn how to make Naan and Chicken Tiki Masala – anyone have any recipes they want to share?
