Coupons.com just released a study revealing what cities are printing the most coupons (per capita). Atlanta, Georgia ranks #1 in terms of being the most frugal city in the United States and for those of us in the Northwest – Seattle comes in a distant 14!
As far as the West Coast goes – Seattle is the only city that made it into the top 25. Most of the frugal cities are in the midwest and northeast. Ohio is the most frugal state with three cities making it in the top 25.
Now this is for 2011 – I’m thinking if we tell enough people, Queen Bee Coupons can bring Seattle up to at least the top 3. You with me? 😉

It’s also easier to get way better deals on that side of the country. More stores double coupons giving the consumer a better reason to print and use coupons. And like Kendra, I too, often print coupons from other zip codes.
Kendra says
I wonder how they calculate this, if they just go off of how many prints are done in each zipcode that would be misleading because I often will print from zip 30303 (Atlanta) becasue the coupon will be there but not in my zip.
Heather says
I’ve wondered the same thing!

I wonder which zipcodes they are all using for each of these cities 🙂
