Rise and Shine is my way of starting the day with you – almost as if we’re chatting over a hot cup of coffee or tea! I share my favorite deals of the day, highlights from yesterday, and anything else that might help you save time, money or energy. Published in the morning on Monday through Friday – as I’m able.
Good morning! TGIF. . . how are you doing this morning? Do you have any plans this weekend? It’s a new month and for some reason that brings a new feeling of optimism for me. We made it another month friends – and I’m hopeful May will be full of brighter days. 🙂 It’s been business as usual around our house – school work, working in the shop, working in the yard – and trying to make the most of staying at home. This weekend I’d like to tackle the garage. . . before all this COVID stuff happened, I was planning on doing a thrift/junque market in May. Since that event was canceled, I have lots of amazing furniture pieces and vintage treasures that need to be organized, re-painted and given some love. We also have been ordering lots of inventory for Ramona Rose – so we have lots of cardboard boxes to breakdown and take to recycling center. I’d like to get more veggies planted in the garden and I just got a box full of dahlia bulbs that I want to get in the ground – that’s the plan for this weekend!
Since my Imperfect Food delivery is scheduled for Monday – I’m logging in this morning and editing my box. Remember – you can do that. . . you can swap out the things they’ve chosen and pick/choose what’s in your box! Have you tried Imperfect Foods yet? I’d love to know what you think. Last week I decided that this quarantine was NOT helping me to make healthy choices. The lack of structure and stress from everything had me snacking and not monitoring my food choices. So I’m doing Weight Watchers to drop some of my quarantine weight and to make healthier choices. Right now you can join and get your first three months free here. The app is phenomenal – you can scan the barcodes on products to get point values and easily track your choices! I am really impressed and I’m already down 6.5 pounds – so I’m feeling motivated to keep at it!
For a limited time, you can save $5 instantly when you spend $20 or more on gardening supplies from Amazon. We’re seeing a great variety of participating items – like grass seed, gloves, trowels, bird baths, hoses and so much more.
