What’s your favorite thing to put in the dehydrator!?!

I am glad I saw this post because my dehydrator just died. I love to dehydrate kale. Kale chips are the bomb just cut the vein out, lightly coat with oil, I use coconut, sprinkle lightly with salt or not and dehydrate. Light, crispy and delicious.

DO IT! No need to add any cin/sug to the apples, we did honeycrisp and OMG they are good!!!

My dehydrator isn’t this model, but I do love it. My favorite things to dry are 1) pineapple rings (you can frequently find a can of 10 or 12 rings for less than $1) and 2) cinnamon sugar apple slices (slice apple thinly; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before dehydrating). Great for school snacks, and SO much cheaper and healthier than the store-bought version.
A dehydrator is great for camping, too. I dehydrate a bag of mixed veggies. At the campsite, I dump them in a pot of boiling broth to rehydrate, add a block of ramen noodles and a can of chicken, and presto! A nutritious — and cheap — meal.
