QFC – Buy 5, save $5 shopping trip – spent only $1.25!

Here’s a shopping trip with the awesome Buy 5, Save $5 promo going on this week at QFC. I did three separate transactions. I wasn’t sure if three catalinas would print if I bought them all together (there have been mixed reports) so I decided to play it safe and do three separate transactions:

Transaction #1

Bought 5 Betty Crocker Mac & Cheese – $1 each
Paid $5, Received $5 catalina

Transaction $2

Bought 5 Totino’s Party Pizza – $1.25 each
Used $1/5 QFC e-coupon
Total =  $5.25
Used $5 catalina from transaction #1
Final Price =  $0.25 ($0.05 each)
Received $5 catalina

Transaction #3

Bought 2 Betty Crocker Potatoes – $1 each
Bought 3 Old El Paso Enchilada Sauces – $1.50 each
Used $0.50/2 Betty Crocker Boxed Potatoes, Except Potato Buds and Betty Crocker Pouch
Total = $6
Used $5 catalina from transaction #2
Final Price = $1 ($0.20 each)
Received $5 catalina
*(There is also a $0.60/3 Old El Paso products coupon from the 9/9 Smart Source that could have been used but I couldn’t find it in my insert.)

This is just a sampling of the great deals you can get this week at QFC. Don’t forget to check out the rest of this week’s QFC match-ups – and the rest of the Buy 5, Save $5 items – before you head out!

    I have rolled the offer ten times for food bank donation. Doing five or six items per purchase at the self check out. The cashier have been very helpful. Thanks jude

    • Seriously an AWESOME deal this week at QFC!! I have rolled this over and over already and plan to keep doing it until Tuesday. This is a WONDERFUL promo for food bank donations. Especially this time of year when there will be tons and tons of collection sites for food donations. If you have the time, make the trip and give a helping hand to others in need!

  2. You could also load a eCoupon for $0.60/3 for the El Paso products from Cellfire.com. I loaded this coupon and the $0.50/2 BC potato products eCoupon to my qfc card and I used both of them today. Both eCoupons took off. No need paper coupons if you don’t have them.

  3. I did my shopping yesterday but it only gave me $5.00 instead of $10.00. I told them about it and also show them the ad. The manager came over right away and fix it. They also gave me one of their qfc shopping bag for the inconvenience. I was really surprised.

  4. Does anyone know if these will “roll”?

  5. At my Albertson’s the boxed BC potatoes were $2.49 per box. They had nothing at all for $1 so I passed on that one.
