Regal Cinemas Summer $1 Kids Movies

Regal $1 Kids Movies

Regal Cinemas Regal Summer Movie Express – $1 kids movies in full swing! Regal Cinemas offers $1 movie admission to popular kids movies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer.

You can check out the Summer movie schedule – so you know what movies will play when. It’s by week – so you’ll have to find out when your local theater starts and pencil it out week by week.

My kids have always loved this series! I will remind you throughout the summer and we’ll try to remind you on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Do you think you’ll go this summer?

See Regal Cinemas $1 Movie locations and start dates here.

Cinemark is ALSO doing a kids summer movie series – Summer Movie Clubhouse. If you buy a pass ahead of time, you’ll pay only $0.50 a movie as a 10-movie pass is only $5. Otherwise it’s $1 a movie. You can buy the movie passes at the box office or online at

  1. Marquee Cinemas is also doing kids shows, for free! The movies are pretty much the same, too.

  2. Does anyone know what week we are on? The site doesn’t give dates, so I am not sure which movie is currently playing. Thanks!

    • Week 1 was June 24;
      Week 2 was July 1;
      Week 3 was July 8
      Week 4 = July 15 ( Tues. = Lego Movie, Wed. = Free Birds)
      Week 5 = July 22,
      Week 6 = July 29
      Week 7 = Aug 5
      Week 8 = Aug 12
      Week 9 = Aug 19

      • Oh, wait, I just saw another site that says that different theaters started on different weeks. So you need to call the theater to see what week they are on. The dates I listed were for my area in VA.

  3. Heather B says:

    Bummer, the nearest ones to me are over an hour away

  4. Bummed all the movies are PG! Only one G

  5. Jeanne Marks says:

    Is it regular price for whoever brings them? Do they have to be accompanied by an adult, or can an older child bring them? How many children can go with an accompanying person? It’s a wonderful chance for the kids to see the movies and will keep them occupied.

  6. How does this work? Do you just go during the show times and pay $1 for the kids movies?

  7. They are actually good ones this year! The last two years they have been showing ones that I didn’t think were appropriate for my 2 and 6 year old. These are way better! Hooray!

  8. I love this… Thank you!

  9. Krista Dennis says:

    cinemark is also doing it this year. If you buy the whole series for the summer the movies are only $.50 each!
